  • Hey guys, hows it going?? just thought I'd update on xanga for once.
lets see....what have i been up to?? oh i know! on July 31 dad took the family down to Oshkosh to the air show.
It was tons of fun. and a lot of walking. but it was worth it!! Here are some pictures..... hope you enjoy!

There were a ton of really cool planes and helicopters.

But this was my favorite part........

       The wing walker!

they had some war planes setting off some "bombs". but what they really did was lit some dynamite when the plane flew over.

They had this really cool war part. they had old tents and stuff. right before we left a black guy came up to us and asked dad if he could take a picture of our family in front of his tent. so we got a pic. of him and his friend infront of his tent too. he was a really cool guy.

and last but not least. a picture of my cute baby sister.

    just gotta love this girl!!!

well i need to go get the cloths off the line and hang some up..... hope you enjoyed.
    see ya!

  • Just gotta love this!

Here's something that is pure creative genius!  Unbelievable!

     READ BEFORE WATCHING THE VIDEO!

This incredible machine was built as a collaborative effort between
the Robert M. Trammell Music Conservatory and the Sharon Wick School of
Engineering at the University of Iowa . Amazingly, 97% of the machines
components came from John Deere Industries and Irrigation Equipment of
Bancroft , Iowa , yes farm equipment!

It took the team a combined 13,029 hours of set-up, alignment,
calibration, and tuning before filming this video but as you can see it
was WELL worth the effort. It is now on display in the Matthew Gerhard
Alumni Hall at the University  and is already slated to be donated to
    the Smithsonian

P.S. Notice that at no time does a ball fall on the floor!

  • Ok i guess now that i posted that last post i should probably tell you guys what happened?
Well to tell you the truth i don't really know how it happened.
A bunch of us that were at the Lattin's decided to go ice-skating Sunday afternoon.  so we went up to the rink.
We were playing freeze tag and Amy Graber was "IT" she was chasing me and tagged me so i went to stop my-self on the wooden edge of the rink, I put my hand on the corner to stop and Amy who was right behind me put he hand on top of mine by accident and some how it pinched my thumb really bad, I didn't think any thing of it except that it had gotten pinched and was starting to hurt a little. then i desided to take off my glove (wich were not that thick.) and a big hunk of skin was tore almost completly off. it wasn't really bleeding so i didn't think it was that bad, but it was starting to get cold so i went into the warming house that is by the rink, as soon as my tumb started to warm up it started to bleed  really really bad, and it was really hurting to. so Frances (Amy's sister.) and Noah fixed me up. Frances said it looked like it had tore all 3 layers of skin off.   (I don't know i didn't look at it tht much.)
So that is the story of my tumb and why it hurts,  (noah you can tell me if i forgot anything.) LOL!
Today i think it feels worse than it did yesterday.

    Ok enuff with that.

    S.O.S. was WAY much fun.
we left here Thu. night. We got there about 9 pm.   The whole weekend was so much fun. I got to hang out with Anna, Aaron, and Lena wich i havent seen for a year. it was SO cool.
Here are a few pictures that i have from mom's and K.L's camaras. I'll put some of my own pix on when i get mine back. I think its still at the Lattin's because i can't find it anywhere.

we had fun just playing around in the kids corner. lol
